About this work

This was the debut screen print by Arlo Sinclair — a 12-colour tribute to the Pokémon generation and our strange new digital obsession with ownership, collectibility, and nostalgia. Printed in collaboration with the renowned K2 Screens (Harland Miller, Stik, Opie), the piece sold out in under seven minutes.

Drawing parallels between Pokémon cards and early NFT hype, Sinclair reflects on the cyclical nature of digital culture. “Both were about ownership, rarity, and the joy of collecting,” he notes. “The excitement of owning a rare item and the thrill of the hunt were the same.”

Meticulously printed with transparent ink layers to recreate the original painted textures, this piece merges childhood ephemera with cultural commentary — a recurring hallmark of the artist’s work.

Each print ships with a hand-made certificate of authenticity, crafted from an actual 3.5" floppy disk.
